Would like to invite you to a Winter hike in Borderland State Park
Date: Saturday Feb 8th
(Rain date: Saturday Feb 15 (Feb break))
Time: 1 pm to 3 pm
We will meet at the main parking lot at 1 pm - closer to the Information center. You will need a day pass ($5), if you don’t have a yearly DCR pass ($60).
We will walk side trails if conditions allow, or the main path if there is too much snow.
During this hike we will learn about the nature of this area. We will share some historical facts as well. Please make sure you wear sturdy boots that are good in snow. You may bring spikes to attach to your boots as well. Wear layers, hats, gloves.
Dogs are allowed!
All welcome, however hikers will be gently encouraged to join SHS, SFOC or SSC.
