Jason Phelps shares Colonial Boston newspaper collection

Did you know one of our board members collects antique newspapers?
We will have 55 extremely rare colonial Boston newspapers ( 1786-1803) on display for all to see (MFA in Boston only has one or two of these in their archives).
They have been locked up for decades in a private collection in France and have been brought back to their rightful home.

We will be able to view these at the Sharon Historical Society 4-6pm on February 12th. The newspapers contain many famous historical figures including James Bowdoin, Samual Adams and George Washington to name a few! Some also include presidential speeches!!
